Taxi rank parking
« on: August 03, 2024, 10:59:12 am »
Received PCN for parking in a taxi rank in Newcastle. There were no markings on the road, only a small sign. The white part advised to pay between 8am to 6.30 pm, above was a small yellow sign saying no waiting except taxis 6.30pm to 8am. Neither I or my partner saw the yellow sign. Appealed based on lack of road markings, rejected.Any thoughts?

Sorry, no good without hard facts. Please read this and update your thread accordingly: -

If the yellow sign was immediately above the parking sign, (i.e on the same pole for the sign) you will struggle to convince anybody that you didn't see it.
