Hi guys hope you can help.

I parked on the street in the normal area I use with my resident permit in the norning. The next day I returned to notice a suspended parking sign on the pole next to my car and a PCN issued with some kind of works going on. Pretty sure there was no sign prior as it was right next to the car and pretty obvious. Can I argue out if it due to insufficient advanced warning?

If you are sure the sign was not there when you parked, then they have given totally inadequate notice of the suspension, You should therefore submit a challenge stating you saw no sign when you parked on <date> at <time>, and state that totally inadequate notice was therefore given of the suspension.  They should have kept a log of when the sign was erected.
