Hi,

So I received a parking ticket at a car park.

I had totally forgotten to pay when I left the car and only remembered when I was shopping about 15 minutes later.

I logged on to the RING-Go app and paid for parking.

Alas when I returned I had already gotten a ticket.

I appealed saying I was late in paying the ticket but did pay (a weak excuse I know).

Redbridge responded saying the ticket was issued correctly and rejected my appeal.

Is there anyway I can fight this or is it easier just to pay the fine?

My view is it is not worth persuing the matter any further. You have already admitted to them that you paid late.

Ah ok, was that a mistake on my part.

I guess it will have to be paid then

Time is always allowed to pay for parking or else nobody could ever be parked legally the second the left their car to walk to the ticket machine, or to get to a location with a good mobile signal.  If you'd come on here before you sent any reps in, we could have put together something on those lines, but you blew it, unfortunately.

Let's see your actual reps pl.
