As per my post #36 at Pepipoo
Do not send what you have written above: write something like I maintain the vehicle meets TfLs standards for the lower charge - Full submission to follow. and opt for a personal/telephone hearing.

Well as the discount is gone it's a no-brainer to appeal. Would you like me to represent you at the tribunal?
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.

I would love for you to support and represent with me at the tribunal! Let me know what you need for me and thank you!

Thanks John. I will send the following over to them today as suggested -

I maintain that my vehicle complies with TfL's standards for the lower charge. A full submission outlining the details and evidence supporting my claim will follow.

I have registered the appeal with the tribunal, I'm not sure exactly what argument will be best in this case but as the discount was lost, we might as well give it our best shot and see what turns up in the evidence pack.

Thank you. For Ref - The discount has been frozen at £1000 since I have contested the fine all the way through. It would be £2000 if it had gone up.

At the tribunal the discount is lost, so the full amount is in play. Please email me all the photos you propose to rely on (the ones showing the seats), also please email me all pages of the V5C.

Outcome, a really worthwhile one as there were £2,000 on the hook.

A big thank you to CP and John on this one! I'm just liaising with LEZ to get them to add my vehicle to the exempt list so I will update you on how that goes.
