LAMBETH council PCN - Help

Hi,

I went to pick something up from a friends house and took my number plates of my car as I didn’t want to get a PCN. I came back with a PCN on my windscreen. I’m not sure how the CEO got this.

Code 12s - Parked in a residents' or shared use parking place or zone without a valid virtual permit or clearly displaying a valid physical permit or voucher or pay and display ticket issued for that place where required, or without payment of the parkin& charse(shared use bay )

Is there any way to have this cancelled?

If for real what is the PCN number and VRM on the PCN.

It's a criminal offence to take your plates off I expect.

I expect the CEO got the VRM if correct from the VIN - is on the dash?

How can I attach the picture of the ticket issued on my windscreen.

However on the ticket;

Any chance I can get this cancelled?

The PCN date is 11 August so the discount is gone.

The website has this nonsense:

The amount outstanding on the Charge Notice will increase to £240.00 on Fri, 12 Sep 2025. Please pay £160.00 now.

Maybe you can make something of this.

Mr Andersen wants to see the PCN - take a picture of it and put it on a picture host site.

Why didn't you pay this at discount and count yourself lucky?

Challenging the PCN lays yourself open to prosecution if the council is minded to report you to the police but they probably won't bother.

If you want to take the risk and not pay £160, say you are challenging the PCN because of procedural impropriety on their website as this is out of order so the PCN must be cancelled.
