Lambeth Bus Lane, Lambeth Road: signage and website issues.

@tyronejiggles  Well done for yesterday's outcome. 2250188530.

I am posting this to assist others since, like their moving traffic contraventions, their website is in disarray and it appears that they do not even read the case on the Tribunal portal. They failed to attend having been given 15 days notice, and their website threatens a charge certificate even before an Enforcement Notice is served! Southwark behave similarly. This means possibly that many people looking at the website may not even make representations=charge certificate issue and/or just pay it. >:(

The appeal was allowed on the signage: over in a couple of minutes.  ;D

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. @cp8759 Thanks.  For readers:  the moral of the story is to put in a simple challenge that the video shows no signage allegedly passed and let the council prove their case.

Hi everyone,

I am the fortunate appellant who indeed did not join the mugged club  ;D .

I encourage everyone to challenge their PCNs, no matter how 'justified' they may appear to the naked eye, as you'll find this is far and few the case, at least far less so than you'd ought to believe.
