I'm going back to look at this in person tomorrow as I'm interested to see what point you can see these signs when turning as, and perhaps I'm a bad driver, but I'm not sure I could mentally process those signs on a good day. As it happens I was on my way to visit my terminally ill father who passed that night and only turned up this road as remembered gas works ahead.
Is there any argument that they're not facing the oncoming traffic please? Seems a strange choice as it's not a crossroads.
A stretch... but the signs are partially obscured in their evidence?
Only looking at previous cases (and now streetview) there's apparantly a previous red sign indicating this but quite possible obscured by trafffic and (in previous cases/ streetview but I'll check tomorrow) foliage.

If this is just a learning experience then fair enough, just I can ill afford it at the moment.
Many thanks in advance
