I came to park on this road, I parked up, called to pay parking, the automated service stated 30 gbp for 2 hours for the diesel car. Too much.
I saw a parking officer 20 meters away, I asked him where i can park, he told me to go a little further down the road, 50 meters just the other side of 'those flower beds' (...protruding from the curb, into the road).<br>
I drove there, 50 meters, parked just the other side of the flower beds. I called the parking charge, same price. He lied to me, but I bit the the bullet, paid 30gbp for 2 hours!

Little did i know, the officer didn't just lie to me, the flower beds form part of a no-go for motor vehicles. Only push bikes. This information came to me in this PCN.

There are 2 PCNs, 1 for going through to park, and 1 when returning through it after parking.

I have written to the council to ask for 'reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010' giving the reasons why. I requested more time to respond, much clearer explanations and communication by email.

I later received an no-reply email and 2 identical letters through the post suggesting I speak to a GP or go to Samaritans, along with time constraints bringing each fine from 80gbp to 240gbp.
So now they are demanding 480 gbp for this alleged offense.

Is there someone who can help me? I will attach below what i have.

Have you had a rejection letter for both PCNs?

What's happened is they took your request for more time as representations and rejected although I can only see a letter referencing one PCN.

When you got the rejections, what did you do? I presume they offered the £80 discount.

I think you did nothing - so they sent charge certificates?

My only thought is to go back to them to try and retrieve this on the basis they treated you unfairly.
