Hello,
I would appreciate any guidance in relation to this PCN.
Unfortunately, I appealed this before I knew this website existed otherwise, I would have obtain such guidance first and then appealed.

My initial appeal:

Essentially I there is no dispute that I parked in contravention to the CPZ. My car was parked after 3pm. Normally non-permit holders can park after 2pm. However, as it it was a match day at Arsenal's stadium, the further restrictions applied from 2-8.30pm.

However, the signage was not adequate on entry to that section of the road. The signs which normally indicate 'Match Days' were flipped 180 degrees and not visible to oncoming vehicles like mine.

This shows the normal orientation of the signs from Google Maps.

Did you get a picture from the other side. What was your route.

It's unusual for Islington to have only one sign at a zone entrance.

I did not unfortunately, but if you look closely you can see it is one-sided sign. Don't know if that is enough.

I entered Drayton Park from Holloway Road and drove towards Gillespie Road. There was a sign on the other side of the road but it was positioned behind a pole as below:

Likewise, the sign in OP is obscured by the tree.
