PCN for entering and stopping in Box junction in Park Parade/ Rucklidge.Ave NW10 Brent Council

Hi just received this PCN and I can see on the video that my cars front wheels enter the box as the car in front suddenly breaks and stops me from going through it. I do not block any traffic or prevent anyone from turning. Do you think I could appeal or is this an open and shut case.

We can't see what's ahead of the car in front of you (which is also in contravention) but unless it stopped without being blocked (which would be your word) I can't see you have a case but Brent does not help itself with the lack of perspective of the exit beyond the box.

If you find yourself in a similar situation again just bail out on the left turn.

You were a bit too quick rushing into the box. I can't see this winning at London Tribunals, frankly. Even if the car in front just stopped to light a fag, you are still in contravention.
