cp8759 does his hearings by phone.  The appellant can also attend by phone. If he agrees, you should follow his advice to the letter.
I REGRET THAT, FOR THE PRESENT, I AM UNABLE TO TAKE ON ANY MORE CASES AS A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE LONDON TRIBUNALS. THIS IS FOR BOTH PERSONAL AND LEGAL REASONS. PLEASE DO NOT PM ME UNLESS YOU HAVE POSTED YOUR THREAD ON THE FORUM AND I WILL ATTEMPT TO GIVE ADVICE.

If you do not challenge, you join "The Mugged Club".

cp8759 and mrmustard are true geniuses. I know my place in the hierarchy of The Three Musketeers. 😊 "The Clinician", "The Gentleman" and "The Showman"

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

Hi CP8759,

No that's fine I just presumed I needed to attend too.

I would be more than happy for you to represent me without my attendance by phone so please let me know the process I need to follow to take up your kind offer?

Thanks.

@dexx99 I sent you a PM on Sunday, if you want to take me up on that just follow the instructions in the message.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.

Thanks Hippocrates, but it's the forum that deserves the congratulations for giving me the courage to push all the way and in the end the council tripped themselves up as we'd hoped.

Thanks to all those supported especially CP8759 who was ready to argue my appeal before Hillingdon in their 'wisdom' replied with 'Do Not Contest'. I reckon the thought of going up against CP8759 was the overiding factor which forced them in to submission.  :'(

I attach the letter from LBOH declaring NFA.  ;D

The only slight loose end is I never received an email from E&TA to affirm the decision, but the letter is good enough for me.

I have exactly the same situation.  Parked next to a sign saying you can park on the pavement, didn't see the other side of the sign.  I would have just parked a foot closer to the corner if I had, but I have always tried to avoid parking too close to corners.  There were no markings on the ground.

I appealed and have the same letter this case refers to - still says you have 14 days from the date of the letter being served to pay £70 or 28 days from the date of "our Notice" to pay £140.

Can you please clarify why the appeal was successful for the OP?  Maybe @cp8759?

Thanks!

You need to start your own case, referencing this one. Make sure you put the full location and note the contravention in the title.
