I received a PCN for driving through this area last Saturday (May 31, 2025); to me, the signage was very unclear.  Coming down Cornwall Road with Falmer Road on the right, it appeared that the sign on the left side of Falmer Road indicated that going that way was prohibited for vehicles.
I am not familiar with recent changes in this area, as I haven't been here for years.
I was already on a diversion due to restrictions on Rose Lane.
Is it fairly clear to locals?  :(
Thanks in advance for any advice.

FWIW - this is in the same area as this PCN.

I just looked at the dashcam footage and I suppose it does have some signs pointing at me - see end of this .

You went through the no motor vehicle entrance at the end of the video. The first entrance you were fine as you turned left. I have been in the neighbourhood for 50 years. NO TO LTNs!!

Nice music though.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.
