I received a PCN from the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham for an alleged contravention: "31J Entering and stopping in a box junction when prohibited – camera enforcement."
The video shows that I approached the yellow box with a path ahead. Traffic was continuously moving, and I had a reasonable expectation of clearing the junction. However, as I proceeded another vehicle from the side had cut in forcing the car ahead to stop suddenly. To avoid being stuck, I maneuvered into the adjacent lane.

Would appreciate advice on how to approach appealing this.

I have uploaded the PCN.

The video clearly shows a car swerving left into your lane just as you were about to exit into the space available on the other side of the box. As this is unforeseen when you enter the box, you should submit reps on this basis.  This is a well known location, and must make millions for the council every year !
Others hopefully will confirm my view.

Thanks that's exactly what I was thinking.

I’ll wait to see what others chime in before putting my reps together.
