Hi,
I've got a PCN for entering an LTN in Greenwich (St Johns Park/Vanburgh Park). It is a timed low traffic neighbourhood - Mon to Fri 7am-10am and 3pm-7pm - so no physical barriers
I was on Strathdean Road and turned left into St Johns Park, which I've subsequently learnt is not allowed. It was about 6pm and dark with roadworks on Strathdean Road and we didn't see a sign at all. Being unfamiliar with the area, we were following the sat nav in the car which directed us this way.
The evidence provided with the PCN is of us exiting the LTN - so the signage facing our direction of travel which we would not have seen. There is no photo evidence of us entering the LTN.
From looking at streetview, there is one small sign on Strathdean Road but in the dark and with the roadworks we simply didn't see it.
Would welcome any advice on appealing. Should we mention all three things (following sat nav, lack of evidence and insufficient signage) or just focus on one? Has anyone successfully appealed a PCN with LB Greenwich.
This is where we entered the LTN
