Interesting FOI response.

How can they prove the camera is approved, if they don't know the make and model of the camera?

Parking Services-This service is contracted to Videalert. The cameras are PADM58 :-\

Presumably, the said manufacturer has a certificate from the VCA?

The VCA certificate for the council states:

Device: Rapidly Deployable Server (PDS) fixed cameras.

In reality, this council never had a certificate at all to enforce bus lane contraventions prior to 8th February.  Deary me.

Personally I'd say carry on. I was meant to have a Greenwich bus lane appeal tomorrow, but the hearing's been cancelled as they haven't produced any evidence at all.

Let us know when you get the enforcement notice.

The representations against the Enforcement Notice are the formal ones which need to be carefully-worded.  It is also clear from two cases sometime ago that this council does watch the internet. ::)  As soon as the officers' attendance was required at the hearing(s), (as per para. 7(6) of Schedule 1 to the LLA Act 1996 (as amended), they DNCed.

i still have not received any enforcement letter from Greenwich council and was wondering whether I should contact them incase its been lost in the post. Also is there a time limit to which they would need to send the enforcement letter by ?

You can't see the status on the Greenwich website, it just says the amount due is £130. I'd wait because if they take too long to issue the enforcement notice, then you can challenge based on unfair delay.

they never even bothered to reply to my email about having 2 pcn sames numbers but different dates so they probably wouldn't reply.

Ok have come home and had the enforcement letter in the post. Not sure the date of issue was 6/oct/23surely my post can't be coming 20 days late..
