fined for driving into a yellow box

I was driving along West Hendon Broadway and got my photo taken in the yellow box.

1. It was dark and chucking it down.
2. It happened in January around 6pm.
3. Due to the roadworks the yellow box doesn’t actually have to be there. You can still see the turning on the left.
4. I have done what I needed to do eg letters photos etc to the correct departments

i have pictures showing that you can hardly see the box in daylight let alone in the dark in the rain. there was also roadworks going on and traffic lights just ahead of also there were zones across the middle of the road so the box was null and void. HELP as i refuse to pay this

Today i get a letter from balifs

And post here
copies of all sides of a correspondece to and from the council (only redact yr name & address from documents - leave all else in),
copy of the bailiff's letter,
and a GSV link to the location.

At the moment we are concentrating on what has gone wrong with the process, rather than the rights and wrongs of the original PCN.

May we assume you have totally ignored all the enforcement documents sent to you including the original PCN ?

Which letters? Order for Recovery? Signed Witness Statement? etc?  We need to know.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.
