Lewisham council not Processing my Appeal
« on: »
So the past two tickets I've received from Lewisham council I have appealed both of them. The first one I appealed when I had the ticket on my car, before any letters came, and the second one I had to wait for over a month for a letter to come in the post. When the letter did come, it was the letter where I have to pay £160, instead of the reduced £80 notice to owner letter they initially send. Anyways, I have appealed these tickets but my appeals never get processed, they seem to ignore all of my appeals. The first one I had to pay for, and this second one I am not paying for. My car had broken down and was recovered to a garage. The recovery truck dropped the car right in front of the garage, which is also a bus lane. The car was immobile, and I have receipts of the work carried out from the garage. I have sent all of this in my appeals never but they are never processing it. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do in this situation? Thanks 🙏

Sorry, but no good without some hard data and information. Please read this and update your thread accordingly.

Do you own the car and is your V5C up-to-date ?
