Parked on a single yellow on Sunday on Stradella Road not far from Brockwell Park. I have done so many times and its normally fine on Sundays. Came back to a parking ticket on the car. Noticed there was this A4 piece of paper in tiny font attached to the closest sign for the actual parking bays, detailing a temporary parking restriction due to festivals happening in the nearby park. There was no clear and obvious signage anywhere on the road I parked, in contrast to the main road which had a big yellow sign advertising the temporary restrictions...

Do I have a leg to stand on in appealing this ticket please ? There was a huge amount of other cars with tickets so it seems like majority of people had no idea about this and the wardens have cleaned up today.

I don't see how you are supposed to read that notice and surely there needs to be no waiting signs.

Another similar case.

Exactly ! Anytime i've previously experienced temporary parking restrictions because of events there's been very clear yellow signage...

Thanks for sending the other thread.
