Hi! New here and posting on my father's behalf. He made the ghastly mistake of following another vehicle and entering the bus gate. I have requested the video by viewmypcn.

Noticed MMV Redux suggestion to appeal using - "My vehicle was shown entering a bus gate with a blue sign therefore the Code 33e contravention must be incorrect and the proper contravention should be a Code 34 'Being in a Bus Lane" but i believe that does not work anymore as per - https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/camrose-avenue-harrow-bus-gate/

Any advise appreciated.

Thanks!

I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.

Apologies. Edited the links.

You need to re-post the PCN with the PCN number and number plate visible, see the guidance here: https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/

The video is not yet online but I have requested it, it should come up on https://viewmypcn.co.uk/default.aspx in the next couple of days.

When did you request it?

As a general rule if it's not there a week after requesting it, it's best to contact the council and ask if they can email it to you or provide it by some other means.
