But their photos dont show you passing a bus lane sign, and here, GSV shows something strange. The GSV view of the approach directly to the bus lane is October 2024, and shows no bus lane sign: -

but the July view shows it: -

However, the October view has an advance sign before the traffic lights on the main road: -

What was your approach to the bus lane ?

Hey, thanks very much for that. The bus lane warning sign is quite a way back, just before entrance to Lyme street https://maps.app.goo.gl/MVX5xhTmPHzJo8PJ7

I had been driving under the bridge, along Camden Road https://maps.app.goo.gl/5Z1U3YA8ngYHijdF8

I’ve asked my friend who lives nearby to go and check tomorrow if there is currently a sign as you enter bus lane.

Warning sign, plus lane indication alongside it is nearly 52 metres back from the bus lane, so there really should be a bus lane sign at the start of the bus lane. Is there such a sign at present, as GSV shows it missing last year ?

With the reinstated sign, plus the advance sign, any appeal argument is a lot weaker.

However our Hippocrates has a winning appeal process, unrelated to the contravention,  in that at adjudication at London Tribunals, the appellant can demand the council, or TfL turn up to the adjudication, and many don't so you win by default, but I don't know whether this applies to TfL. Of course the full PCN penalty will be in play.
