We need to see your challenge and their rejection.
A lot of parked cars then so may have taken people by surprise as one day suspension on 27 Feb outside 16-18.
When did you park there before 27 Feb as you may have been in bay when sign went up.
Camden has a suspension warning email you can sign up to:

and a map of current/planned suspensions:

Thanks, here is my appeal:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally appeal the penalty charge notice issued on 27th February 2025 at 7:30 AM. I believe this penalty was unfairly issued for the following reasons:
1. Inadequate Signage: The single warning sign that was posted is located 2-3 houses away from the suspended parking area, making it difficult to notice (please see the image timestamped for 7:49am). If signs had been placed on lampposts either side of the suspended area, it would have been noticeable that parking restrictions applied to the area in between. The lack of sufficient signage, especially in areas where the lamppost is far from the affected space, makes it unreasonable to expect drivers to be fully aware of the restriction. Notably, we were not the only vehicle parked in the area at the time, and observed throughout the day that several other cars had also parked in the suspended space, further demonstrating that the placement of the sign was ineffective.
2. Personal Circumstances: We have been residents of this area for over 5 years with no prior penalty charge notices, and we are always diligent in checking road signs. However, due to the recent arrival of our newborn, we rarely leave the house (less than once a week). When we do drive, our attention is often diverted to caring for our crying or fussing baby, which limits our ability and time to observe any parking signs as we often rush to take her into the house. Additionally, we have not passed the area where the sign was posted, as the car approached from Pilgrims Road and the sign was not clearly visible from where we parked (this is why it is crucial to have more than one sign to wholly cover the suspended area).
3. No Obstruction Caused: The penalty notice was issued at 7:30am, but we vacated the parking space at 7:51am (please see timestamped image at 7:51am). The removals van arrived at 12:21pm (please see timestamped image at 12:21pm), which demonstrates that my vehicle was not in the way at the time the van required the space (my neighbour spoke with the civil enforcement officer at the time and was informed that the reason for the restriction was for a van). Thus, no obstruction or inconvenience was caused by our car.
Given these circumstances, I kindly request that you reconsider and cancel the penalty charge notice. We are honest and responsible residents with a clean record who removed the car immediately upon learning of the restriction (a mere 21 minutes after the PCN was issued). Moreover, the signage was insufficient and we have not driven nor walked past the sign since it was displayed.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
Their reply attached as images. I noticed in their reply he said the restricted bay was house 14-16, but it was actually 16-18....not sure if this helps anything.
Think I last parked on 17th Feb. Not sure when the restriction sign went up!
Thank you!
