Can anyone help me out with this Penalty , images uploaded

I have received it the other day in Wimbledon when went to pick my friend from station, I never been there and was new to area
I took left turn to a small road where there was bus lane and got penalty . There were 2 lane on that small road, I was in the right lane which was supposed to be not bus lane but it was giving sign of only left turn and I wanted to go straight, hence I reverse my car as got confused and changed the lane to left, which was difficult to understand if it was bus lane as it goes straight and I wanted to go straight too. eventually got penalty of going in ? Bus lane

Any advice appreciated , I have attached PCN too

I think it may be far enough from The Broadway to void the PCN for wrong location?

But we need to see the video to pinpoint the location of the car at the time alleged. At 14:20:33 the vehicle is - where? The Council evidence has a comment about the location?

I have have earlier replied in the morning for you below queries. I don's understand why It wasn't delivered .

The original penalty is 160£ if paid within a month , if paid within 14 days its 80£. The date of notice is 07/08/2025 and this way its day 14 today. Penalty charge will be double to 320£ after a month.

I am the registered keeper of the car.

I went on the website but it doesn't ask me questions that you mentioned below on the payment section. It directly takes me to bank details after 2 pages . I have taken the screen shot and attached below if it helps

You have not answered my question. But, here we go and, BEFORE you submit, screenshot the representation page with the wrong grounds as advised:


1. The video does not support the alleged contravention because it does not show any signage allegedly passed.

2. I make this collateral challenge against the validity of the PCN as it is missing mandatory information as provided at Para. 4 (8 ) (v) of

(v)that, if the penalty charge is not paid before the end of the 28 day period, an increased

charge may be payable.

Clearly, this refers to Para. 4 (8 ) (iii):

(iii)that the penalty charge must be paid before the end of the period of 28 days beginning

with the date of the notice;

Therefore, it follows that the statement: "If you fail to pay the Penalty Charge or make representations before the end of a period of 28 days beginning with the date of service of this notice an increased charge of £240 may be payable” adds to the lack of clarity by its omission. Even on its own, whether the required information was included or not, it is also arguable that it conflates the two periods using the word "or" which many would view as being conjunctive. Furthermore, even if the statement were to be interpreted disjunctively, there is still no clarity due to the missing information. So, it follows that it cannot possibly be interpreted disjunctively.

In light of the above, I ask that the PCN be cancelled.

Also what do you mean by representation page?
