Good afternoon,

Can i please have some advice on the following https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjASqgK

First time i've driven around Bristol or an area with a CAZ.
I attempted to enter Cabot Circus carpark without entering the CAZ. (i beleive it can be done?) Unfortunetly, i failed and entered the CAZ for about 50 metres to which it then ended as i entered the Cabot Circus Carpark.

Is Cabot Circus Carpark discussed often, with it straddling the CAZ?

Bristol CAZ PCNs have a fatal flaw in that they use an 0870 number.

SEarch this forum (top RH corner) on 'Bristol CAZ' for other cases with successful reps and post up your proposed draft here before submitting.

I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.

Good Evening all.

its been some time since i sent my representation (03 September). What is the timings that they have to adhere to?

They have 56 days in which to respond, (accept or reject your reps).

https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/1783/regulation/8/made
See Regulation 8 (9)b

So i make that the 20 November?
I suppose i should take that as they've accepted my representation?

No. That can lead to a world of pain.

It may have got lost. Check the state of the PCN on rhe website.

Certainly not, you must get it confirmed !.  So you need to (1) check their webpage for the PCN, and (2) contact them to suggest that as you have received no reponse within the legally mandated maximum of 56 days, you assume they have accepted your representations

Well done !  I do wonder whether they don't want the issues in your reps to be exposed, so just let the days roll to over 56 days. They'll be making shedloads of money so can afford a few small losses.
