Hello all,

Yet another PCN from Waltham Forest...This time my sister was driving on wood street with a friend and made a turn onto Barrett Road to pick up her child from school during restricted hours. She missed the signage indicating pedestrians and cyclists only and says there wasn't any other sign warning her prior to making the turn. I've seen similar cases on FTLA in other parts of Waltham Forests wherein drivers do not notice these signs overhead though I doubt the council would accept such  reasoning. Any advice on how to proceed?

No advance warning sign, and also the sign on the left is obscured by the scaffolding. The other sign is partly obscured by the telephone pole as well.

I didn't even notice the sign on the left myself. I found these traffic management orders for pedestrian cycle zones, one was experimental and the enforcement expired in October 2022, but then there is a second one dated on 11 August 2022. I'm assuming the one dated on 11 August 2022 is still being enforced.
