Hi,

I was caught on CCTV in a bus lane during an event day in Wembley. At the time, I did not see the event day sign. After reviewing my dash cam footage, I believe the event day signage was obstructed. The sign on the left is partly obstructed by the bushes. The sign on the right is under a tree, not lit up, and obstructed by another sign. I’ve attached the dash cam footage and included a screenshot of the signs.

I want to check if this is worth appealing on the grounds of the signs being obstructed and/or there not being enough signage to indicate it was an event day. I received the PCN today (03/09/2025).

Back later with a draft. Don't pay it please. And don't do their work for them.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

Hi

A family member has paid the penalty fee for me, they didn't know I planned to appeal.
I know usually once you paid that revokes any chance of appealing. I don't suppose the fact that it was paid by someone else without my knowledge there's still a chance of appealing?

If not, don't waste time on a draft for me. Really appreciate your efforts.

Out of curiosity what would you have said and do you think the appeal would have worked?

Just look at similar posts. I am too busy to deal with people who join The Mugged Club as I advise on here and do appeals. Sorry to be blunt. All London bus lane cases are beatable.
