Hello

Today my wife received a letter from CDER Group Bailiff's demanding £189 for an unpaid Penalty Charge Notice from Coventry City Council for '34, Being in a bus lane'. The contravention date is 10/02/2023 and 'Warrant issue date' was '16/06/2023' This is the first that we have heard of the charge as we did not receive any previous letters. This is due to the fact that she had forgotten to update her V5C logbook to our new address when we moved house in May 2022. Therefore, there was around 14 months where the car was registered to the wrong address.

Any advice about what to do in this situation would be greatly appreciated.
