Another Pepipoo refugee :o)

Hello all

Nice to be here

Just migrating from the 'other' site so probably easier if I just link to the topic posted there

I have been receiving some guidance there and now submitted my appeal against a PCN which is now being considered by the LA (Surrey)

Hope this is still of interest

Please to post a timeline/summary of events so far with the PCN and GSV link. The idea of the new site is to stop vital info disappearing mid case iof PPP suddenly goes down again.

As above, post a timeline and all the key documents. If pepipoo goes down before your case gets to the tribunal, we're going to need all that information.

Hi all

So I parked on a yellow line one Saturday morning and got a PCN.  I had parked in that spot because I couldn't get my vehicle ( transit type tipper) into the underground car park that I normally use.  My regular vehicle had broken down so I had to use the truck on this occasion.  The purpose of my trip was to deliver a child to a family contact (I am a foster carer).  It was suggested that I make an appeal on the grounds of assisted alighting.  I sent the appeal in and received a letter from the enforcement authority stating that they  were cancelling the PCN due to an "issuing error by the Civil Enforcement Officer" (redacted copy of letter and PCN attached)

Not the reply I was expecting but a result nonetheless

Many thanks to all who helped with this

Wow, the second win after informal reps today. Can it be 'ftla' has cast a spell on some councils ?

Well done !

Maybe there was another reason that they cancelled it, unless this is a stock letter.  I say that because we already looked at whether the PCN was compliant and it seemed as though it was, hence my surprise at the phrase "issuing error by the Civil Enforcement Officer".

Either way, I'm happy with the outcome :o)
