Hello lovely people of FTLA, I need your guidance for 4 PCNs that I have received within the same hour for the same contravention (52m failing to comply with a prohibition on certain type of vehicles)

The PCNs have been issued at 00.02, 00.02, 00.05, 00.41 all on 29/04/2025 (the first three are on the same road but different junctions and the last one is a different road half a mile away)

I want to take responsibility for not paying attention to the signs but I simply cannot afford to pay all four. Are there grounds for any unfair or excessive PCNs being issues in a short time for the same contravention? Is it reasonable to expect all of them be combined as a single contravention?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

I make that 2 PCNs for one location, and 2 for each of the other locations. Heavens, what caused you to charge through all these signs ?
