37 j, not giving way, Salters Hill SE219

Hi and thanks in advance for any help that you can give.

The requirement is to give way to oncoming traffic, seeking to pass under a narrow bridge, all very well except cars turn onto Salters Hill from the bottom end, and the camera is set at such an angle that even if a car has just pulled forward from the give way signs before the car has turned it looks as if the approaching car is much closer.

In my case I had given way to the white van shown in the central photo on page 2, and then moved off, after I had moved forward and was almost under the bridge the blue car turned onto Salters Hill.

The first photo on page 2 shows how close I was to the T junction at the bottom of the road, when the blue car passed me after I had passed under the bridge.

The first photo on page 1 indicates clearly that I was all under the bridge when the blue car approached.

It is essential that we see the video, so please obtain it and post via a hosting site. The video is the sole evidence of the alleged contravention.

There is no video on the council website, but the PCN is pants so it hardly matters, draft reps:

Dear London Borough of Lambeth,

The 14 and 28 days payment periods stated on the PCN are both wrong, in light of that the PCN is invalid and it must be cancelled.

Yours faithfully,

Send them via the council website and keep a screenshot of the confirmation screen. The council will reject this but victory is all but assured on appeal to the tribunal.

Strange there is no video available, because every previous case I've seen, there has been one.
