Alleged offence - 34J being in a bus lane

Uxbridge Road West Ealing heading westward

I was traveling close behind a bus - the approaching Bus Lane road markings were obscured by the bus.

As soon as I became aware of the road markings I checked my rear view mirror to see if it was safe to pull out into the outer lane.

Another bus was fast approaching, I hesitated until I felt it reasonably safe to pull out in front of it - as can be seen on the video provided the

car immediately behind me had to pull back in.

I intend to appeal this PCN on thee grounds - can you further advise please ?

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.
