Hello, thank you for your help in advance.

Visited a friend and parked using their visitors permits. These have been used without issue all week. Displayed clearly but returned to my car and received the PCN above these. It was a matchday but the sign says IS-V so unsure why we received the PCN.

**Update, the resident has found out that apparently on matchdays paper vouchers aren't permitted, only e-vouchers.
This rule only seems to appear online (not on signs), and as a visitor I feel pretty hard done by if this is the reason for this PCN... is it worth appealing?

When and how you can use paper visitor vouchers - paper vouchers cannot be used for match day additional controls.

Thank you again.

Please post a GSV link and tell us exactly where you were parked.

I am parked where the black car is on the left side here (beneath the parking sign posted earlier):
Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

The permits are only 3 hours each, so two as we were parking for longer than 3 hours. Parking would be free after this time. The PCN was issued within 3 hours from parking anyway.

The sign states that holders of IS-V permits are entitled to park during all restricted hours whether regular or additional matchday controls.

Furthermore, the permit itself does not state that this permit is invalid, in fact IMO by extension it states the contrary:

'Sunday scratch box will only apply on matchdays'

So, a paper permit which isn't valid on match days carries instructions regarding how it's to be used when it's not valid.

Mmmm, let me think on this one!

Update: The PCN was cancelled.

-- paper vouchers arent valid
-- they may have been printed before the restrictions changed

- its my responsibility to look on the internet, despite my vouchers or signage show no reason to doubt i need to further investigate parking rules

rediculous, sounds like they knew they were wrong and still putting up a petty fight whilst cancelling the PCN. Must be fun feeling so powerful.
IMO its their job to put signgage that states this clearly.

Anyway, thanks for your help
