After 28 days passed they issued me £65 fines for three consecutive days. On the third day only I noticed only the tickets on the screens

OP, let's get back to this please.

1. How many PCNs were on the windscreen on day 3?
2. Did the car move between the time of the first contravention and the time of the third?

The above will deal with the issue of 'continuous contravention' which is a possible defence against PCNs 2 and 3.

Can we have a simple timeline pl.

1. Permit change made on *** and came into effect on ***;
2. Permit change expired on(reverted to original VRM) ****;
3. Date of first PCN ***?
Was vehicle parked within the zone during the time gap between 2 and 3?

My recommendation would be to carry on as fault for this situation lies with the council, not you.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.
