Hi there – I received two 'no entry' contraventions on two ends of the same road: one while going and another on the way back after parking there for 2–3 hours. These are relatively new enforcements that I wasn’t aware of. Do I have any grounds to appeal?

Wow ! Not the usual "Flying Motorbike" signs, but traditional "No Entry" signs ! As far as I see from the videos, you drove head-on to them, and totally ignored them. I have to say, use of No Entry signs is unusual, unless, of course, they have made the road one-way and you drove the wrong way !

GSV Streetview is too out-of-date to show these signs, the last view was 2022. So if you could do some legwork and tell us if there are any advance warnings of the restriction it would help build a case. I have to say that this does not look like an easy case to get dismissed. However, there may be a technical appeal argument based on Newham mismanagement of the enforcement process, so wait a bit to see what comes up. These specialised arguments can win an adjudication on their own, regardless of the original contravention.

Thanks, yes - looks like they've made the road one way at some point of time.

I only drove with such confidence because I used to live in the area and regularly drove through those roads before the restrictions were in place. I do acknowledge that it was my mistake to miss the signs
