(Camden Council) code 14, Parked in an electric vehicles charging place during restricted hours without charging

Hello everyone,

I received the following PCN from Camden council.

Contravention Code: 14

The maps view doesn't show the electric charging and new signage, it is where the blue fiat and two cars are parked that the council installed the charging point

I have parked in the location and plugged in and I started a charging session, however, it turned out that the charger is faulty and is displaying a fault. The charger didn't charge, I have both an email from the charging company confirming this, and I went back to the location the next day and saw that the charger is saying that the charging port that I used is faulty. I took a picture and video of this

I am currently drafting an appeal based on the faulty charger, and that I didn't know that the charger is faulty at the time/developed a fault during my usage and that it was my first time using that charger. it is only after I received the ticket and talked to the company that they confirmed that the charger is faulty. Would that be enough for the council?

yes it did, it is my first time using this charger, or any one from totalenergies. It didn't display a fault before I plugged it in and I thought everything was fine
