Newham PCN Parked In Disabled Bay

Hi All,

First post here but used to use pepipoo. Anyhow just got this pcn an hour ago for parking in a disabled bay, my car had a valid  visitor permit but not disabled badge as I wasnt intending to park in one. Do i have a valid appeal here as 95% of the defining line of the disabled bay is not even there anymore? I didnt see the "line" which is why i encroached on the disabled bay I guess.

How should I word the appeal? I am certain Newham will reject the first appeal as they always do but if I have a case im willing to take this as far as I can.

Ive attached a picture of how my car was parked and then I moved the car forward to see the line, of which it is hardly there, pics attached.

PLease post both sides of the unredacted PCN and a GSV link to the location.
Also, when they are up, any Council photos.

Think you'll struggle with this because of the position of the parking sign but the bay dividing line is a factor of course.

Yes I thought as much. Im sure theres some legislation on where the sign must be or maybe there isnt, But the lines hardly being there must mean I have a reasonable reason for appeal? How would I word it?

I think the main point you need to address is why you missed the sign, that was right by your car. Yes, the bay markings are degraded, but the sign is clear.
