Is there a correlation between sign height or angle to the road and the number of tickets?

I have spoken to Officers about the feasibility of your proposal. My understanding is that Brent has no plans to introduce additional physical features, such as planters or bollards, at the entrances to all School Streets. Whilst these treatments may be appropriate in some locations, they are not suitable for every site. Physical features can reduce the available carriageway width, create additional maintenance liabilities, affect access for larger vehicles and emergency services, and may not be compatible with the layout or operational requirements of all streets.
 
You will also see from Wandsworth's detailed design drawing that the planter is an additional gateway feature; it does not replace the statutory TSRGD signing requirements or the prescribed mounting heights for regulatory signs. The regulatory signs remain in place and continue to display the same information, including any applicable exemptions.

Brent's School Street signage is fully compliant with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD). In addition to the statutory requirements, we have installed advance warning signs for all our School Streets to provide motorists with additional notice of the restrictions.
 
We meet regularly with our appeals team to review Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) appeals. Where appropriate, we assess whether any additional measures, including further advance warning signs, would improve driver awareness and compliance.
 
Brent will continue to monitor compliance across its School Streets, review the effectiveness of its signage, and install additional advance warning signs where there is evidence that they would improve driver awareness and compliance.

They say all the signs are compliant with the TSRGD, but they have another set of regulations to follow that councils always seem curiosly reluctant to mention, the The Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996.
In particular, Regulation 18

which puts a duty of placement of traffic signs that the council consider to adequately convey the restriction to motorists. It is possible to argue that 'adequate' signage has not been installed.
