Hi, I submitted my response to FPN and filled out section 2 and 5. The only slight error I can see is the I included the last 2 digits of my driver number (maybe I shouldn't have ?)

I was driving, the car is registered in my name and my license shows my current address.

The witness statement says.

Driver failed to satisfy requirements of FPN, the FPN was paid but they failed to provide license details.for endorsement as a refund was requested.

They have supplied a copy of the FPN which shows my driver number.

Have I missed something? How to proceed?

You need to expand on this... At the point of accepting the CoFP they would request full details and you say you supplied just the last 2 digits?

When you say FPN, do you mean the Notice of Intended Prosecution or the subsequent follow up document inviting you to apart with £100 of you hard earned?

A common occurrence we find is that drivers confuse the two and having provided it on their driver submission, believe that it is done. The requirement is to also provide it when paying the COFP as well, either online or by post.

Edit. If it helps there is no FPN. There is a NIP, a S.172 requirement to provide driver details and a Conditional Offer of a Fixed Penalty (COFP).

To clarify: From the statement

So maybe I didn't state my driver number when making the payment.

I cant see any record of paying it from my bank, do you know who the payment would have been sent to? From memory it was £100, does that sound right?

It doesn't really matter what you did or didn't do. You have an SJPN and you must deal with it.

That would seem to depend on whether or not the OP satisfied the statutory requirements as to providing identification details.
If, as he initially appeared to be suggesting, he provided all the required information plus the issue number of his photocard, and the CTO are being twits about it, then it would seem to be unlawful to prosecute him.

If, he provided the issue number instead of the licence number, he deserves to be taken out into the street and shot. In the face.

However, as the OP, who apparently has a copy of the information he provided in the SJPN bundle, can't remember what information he provided, I am leaning towards the latter.
