Hi all,

Quick update. Today received a 'Summons on Referral to Court' stating that a magistrate has decided the case should be referred to a full hearing and it provides a date and time.

The reason stated for the hearing is stated as 'Case management hearing (deft to attend)'.

As a litigant in person is there anything I need to prepare before the hearing?

More knowledgeable will add/correct,but given the case is fairly simple, I'd take everything!

The hearing is to establish the skeleton issues in play, from which the court will/may issue directions to both parties in respect of what they need to do/proive/show at the full hearing. If things are as clear/certain as described, the case may be discontinued anyway.
