The letter that I have received does say on it summons to court, and says 'you are summonsed to attend the court sitting'

That surprises me, but it doesn't matter. The advice is the same.

Before the pandemic it was always necessary to attend court to negotiate this "deal". When the pandemic hit courts were obviously keen to avoid as many personal attendances as possible and arrangements were made for this deal to be accepted without a court attendance. Many courts have continued with this process but some have reverted to the old arrangements. Looks like yours is one of them.

Turn up early, ask someone there to point me in the direction of the prosecutor, say 'hello, Im 'x'...Id like to talk about my plea if possible. In my online plea I plead not guilty to both the speeding charges and both the failure to provide driver info charges but offered to change my not guilty plea for the speeding if the failure to provide charges are not continued. Are you willing to accept that offer?'
