It 'drops' to 50 just as you come under the M25 now & has done for about 12 months now - so all the way down to the fixed cameras near Sterling corner . So maybe you dont really know the road that well....

A speeding offence is not a recordable offence. Therefore it is not automatically included on a DBS check. Whether it would appear on an enhanced certificate depends on whether the police consider it to be relevant - which seems highly unlikely.

This newer section of 50 is part of the National Highways SRN - so might be worth checking they have a correct speed limit order - it wont be one made by Barnet or Borehamwood councils. I think the section where the fixed cameras are is just within the London Borough of Barnet so TFL should have the order for that.
