So pay the 44 today bert? What about the 50 ?The 50 is also spelt incorrectly as the person who sold me the car spelt my name as Rechard on the V5C not Richard.When you saying about delaying the 50, how long are we talking here Bert? And what potentially do you mean by seeing how switched on the CTO is ? What would be the potential outcomes of delaying it ?

Now you've confused me. You say in your OP that you received an NIPs dated 19/02. What are you going to pay and to who?

The incorrect spelling of the name is irrelevant. No one is going to able to convince a bench that Rechard Smith of 28 Acacia Avenue is not Richard Smith of 28 Acacia Avenue.

Both NIPs notice issue date is 19/2/26 . The offences where on 22/10/25 and 30/11/25. Warwickshire Police issued the NIPs.

I think you have confused BertB by asking "So pay the 44 today bert?"

That's because so far you haven't yet received anything that you can pay, have you?  All you've received is two NIPs asking you simply to name the driver, not asking you to pay anything.

Is that right?

BertB is simply trying to advise you as to which request to name the driver you should reply to first

It might help if you read the cunningly hidden "READ THIS FIRST" sticky at the top of this forum and provided some meaningful information before externalising you inability to comprehend the advice already given.

Also, this is an open forum where advice is provided in the thread and subject to peer review. If you persist in PMing individual members because you couldn't be bothered to read what they already wrote in your thread, I will be more than happy to lock the thread.

At the risk of repeating myself then. To almost certainly see a COFP (fixed Penalty Offer) for the first offence of 44mph in a 30 limit, I would return this form on its own in the first instance, naming yourself as driver. This would ensure that a COFP can be issued giving you time to respond and accept points/fine.

If you delay on this, it is possible that they may decide a time out is possible and will issue a SJPN instead. You could ask them to apply sentence at the same level as a fixed penalty, but there is no guarantee they will adhere to this meaning 4/5 points and larger fine/costs instead of 3pts & £100.

For the second offence of 50mph, it will be heading to SJPN anyway so no need to rush. Normally it wouldn't matter in delaying, but given the offence was end of November, if you wait the allowed time available and return the form so as to reach them on day 28 it often takes some time to process a SJPN. There are few to no guarantees, but it does slightly widen the possibility of a time out in your favour.
