Good evening all,

The driver has received a parking charge to registered keeper. It says that the parking charge has been issued due to the breach of the terms and conditions of the parking on private land at the location noted above. I have two issues with this statement:
1. The location
The location noted in the letter is NOVO Glebe Farm Drive, Cambridge, CB2 9PF. This is not the street the car was parked at. The actual location where the car was parked was the Vicarage Way between house number 9 and 7 as on the google map image attached. And on the image included in the parking charge letter the car is parked on the Vicarage Way, as it is visible, that on one side of the car there is a children's playground, on the other side there is the path. The driver has never parked the car on the Glebe Farm Drive.
2. The Notice board

The Notice board regarding the parking is behind the parking area, next to one of the terraced houses. Not in front of the area where the car was parked. I am not sure what it says on the board. I will drive there on Saturday and take a picture of it.

My question is whether these two points are enough to dispute the parking charge and whether someone could please suggest the right wording for it?

If not, obviously, the driver would have to pay the parking charge.

The driver parked on 18 April at around 12.20 for around 20 minutes. The letter was issued on 22 April and delivered shortly after that.

I have posted extra (link above) pictures of :
1. The full Parking notice letter
2. The parking board on the street
3. Two angles of the street where the car was parked.

After taking a picture of the Parking board, I do not understand now, why the fine was issued.
 
The parking board says Restricting Parking ONLY:
1. Park only within the marked bays. Vehicles must only occupy one bay at any one time.
2. Parking is prohibited on footpaths, roadways, landscaped areas.

The Parking charge notice says the reason for issuing it is : unauthorised parking location.
I do not believe that the car was parked either on a roadway or landscaped area or on a footpath. Additionally, as per pictures attached, there are no marked bays on the road.

Can it be argued that no rule was broken by parking the car according to the restrictions on the parking board?
