As the registered keeper I have received the attached PCN from UKPC.

Note the photo shown on the PCN does not show the tyres of car outside of the markings of the bay because there is a tree in the way.

I have attended the site since and there are no parking signs other than one a long way from where the car was parked.

Could someone please help me with appealing this?

Here are some photos from the site evidencing that there are no parking signs (other than one quite a way from the space the car was parked in).

The following photo was the entrance to the car park:

This was the sole parking sign (which was quite far from the parking space):

I assume that your defence here will be lack of singage particularly at the entrance. You need to make notes of how far the signs are situated in comparison to where you were parked. The BPA guidelines give a good in depth overview of their policies. I have had success with POPLA but not dealt with IPC.
Get your appeal(s) in and be prepared for a long journey more than likely. There is an abundance of appeals on signs I had one a few months ago posted here worth a look at.

Thanks for the reply @Sander333. I will get an appeal written up and send it in and then see how it eventually goes with POPLA.

I had a look at your post. Interesting as I know Cwmdu Industrial Estate (I grew up in Swansea). Did you put in an appeal to IPC in the end or did you wait for a Letter of Claim?

Remember no “period of parking” and search the forum if this doesn’t immediately make sense.

Appeal was sent to IAS waste of time and effort but felt to close off any thoughts of not using process. Had a few debt collectors letters but nothing further at present.

Expect a Letter of Claim from DCB Legal, you have rightly been ignoring DCBL but the LoC should be replied to.

Plan a subsequent defence to a county court claim.
