Yes, we frequently point out that mediators are not legally trained or qualified, so if they stray into anything legal a formal complaint should be made against them.

I've now received this Notice of Transfer Proceedings letter:
Google Docs · drive.google.com

What should I expect next?

Thanks,

There doesn't appear to be anything to update you on. You're waiting for the court in Manchester to write to you.

Thanks, if that's what the last letter means. It was brief and had a no idea what it was for.

When the court write what should I expect?

I've followed the process set out in this thread and I'm hoping it'll be dismissed but again I don't know the likelihood of that.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

TW

You will get a more detailed letter containing information on the date of the court hearing, the date by which the claimant has to pay the court fee, and the date by which documents such as Witness Statements need to be served.
A good possibility is that the fee has to be paid before any documentation, so that if the claimant discontinues rather than paying the fee, that involves you with the least effort. But no guarantees.
The good news is that DCB Legal usually discontinues.

Hi,

I've received a General Form of Judgment or Order. See link for photos:

Google Drive · drive.google.com

If I'm right I'm just waiting for another letter.

Is that correct?

Thanks in advance,

TW

The court agrees with your defence that the Particulars of Claim as submitted by DCBL/Parking Eye are inadequate, and requires them to do a proper job by 14 May. If they do so, you have until 11 June to submit a modified defence in the light of the changes Parking Eye has made.

So you need to note 14 May as an important date, either to receive updated Particulars of Claim or to see the case struck out.
