ParkMaven - CCJ Claim Form issued as first contact - Private parking in front of Business

Hello All,

I have received a claim form for a CCJ that I have received no notice of prior to its arrival. No NTK, reminder, debt collection or otherwise. The first I am hearing about it is through the court document.

There is another ongoing case for a different event a week earlier from the same company, also at the Claim form stage however all of the correct documents were issued for that.

Can you please advise on the best approach for handling this.

Post up the court form.  Is / was your address on the V5C correct?  Lucky this has come as a court claim form, rather than a default judgement.

Hi, 

Please see the claim form attached below.

The V5 is correct and I would hope that the other fine that did have all paperwork come though (date of event was a week prior to this one) would be good proof of this, and maybe point to a fault in their system. 

Like you say, it is fortunate to have arrived at this stage, not later. I have not yet replied to it as I want to ensure my response is correct. 


What would the next step be?
