I work for a fastfood resturant and in 2021 I was asked to cover a shift for a different store that was in the local area and apart of the restruract francise. I have worked for this company for almost 10 years, and have done this several times, your vehicle registraction is added to the parking system and you won't get fined e.c.t
Well either it wasn't added or something elese happened, I don't know. Anyway, some time later I get a letter for a parking fine for £60, I bring it into work and they say they will try to sort it out. They don't of course, I think at the time it was going to cost the company £25 to void the fine, instead of doing that, one of the managers tells me to just ignore the fine.
I don't of course, I appeal on the website, and then eventually to one of the debt collector companies, but they don't care.
Anyway years go by, and about a month ago Febuary 2026 I get a claim agaist me for £315, once again I tell my work about this and have done nothing, they don't care at all.
Reason being that my resturant is now owned by a different francise, and they use a different parking company, so they don't care. My only advice from one of the francise managment, which I got indirectely (communication has been aweful) was to call a debt parking company which has 1.3 stars on google to help me out?
