Parking Charge Notice for "Stopping"
« on: »
Hi, first time here. I've had tickets before but I will usually pay them as they've been fair (although barely).

I received a parking charge notice today from PCM. I know what happened and I'm wondering if this can be appealed. I pulled into a side road that goes nowhere next to a station in London to pick up a friend. There was no parking so I just stopped next to the parked cars, he dropped his bags in the boot, got in and I drove off. I can't say exactly how long I was there but I don't think I was technically parked, I wasn't blocking anyone or anything it was just a pick up on the side of the road.
They've sent me two pictures that are tiny and I can't see my number plate form them in fact I can barely recognise my car, I guess the picture will be better if I log into the website and I don't want to do that until I know where I stand. The time stamp is one second apart on the pictures which doesn't indicate stopping to me.

Let me know what you think and if you need any more info.

Thanks

Please read and act on https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/

First of all, we need to see the notice.

Second of all, what do the signs say?
