Have a read of this thread for a near identical case of a MET parking PCN issued for an alleged contravention at a Krispy Kreme:

That one has not yet concluded but will eventually be discontinued, just before they have to pay the £27 trial fee in a few months time. That one has been ongoing for over 10 months now and has another few months to run.
What I can assure you, with greater than 99.9% confidence, is that it will be discontinued.
Just follow the same advice as in that thread and you will, in around a year from now be very relived to find an N279 Notice of Discontinuance (NoD) in the post issued by DCB Legal.
