Please post the documents you have received rather than summarising them, so that we can give you the best possible advice.

You didn't do this as requested.

From what you said you needed to submit a Witness Statement by 1 or 2 September.

Whilst it may be that the case will be struck out, you may now be in the position of having to submit a WS in a hurry. Not for good reasons.

You either submit a WS now anyway, or you hope that it all goes away. If you want to play it safe, submit a WS now.

I’m still not sure why the images aren’t showing.

Anyway, I think it’s not relevant now as I’ve just had confirmation from the court that the case has been struck out for non payment of the fee.

‘Striking Out Claim - Defendant: CASE NUMBER: Nxxxxxxx

With reference to the above matter, please be advised that the hearing scheduled for 16/09/2026 will no longer proceed as planned. The hearing has been vacated following the striking out of the claim due to the Claimant’s not paid the trial fee, in accordance with the order dated 15/08/2026.

I assume that simply the end of the matter now and I don’t need to do anything further?

Thank you all for your most helpful advice and a good outcome!
