Horizon Parking Coop Thatcham. Failure to Pay for Full Duration of Stay.

Please could you guide me with how to deal with this PCN.

As the registered keeper I have received a Parking Charge from Horizon Parking for Failure to Pay for Full Duration of Stay.

No payment was made as the vehicle was not to be parked in the car park.

The vehicle was to be parked with permission in the staff area behind Ladbrokes whilst the contractor carried out emergency works inside. To get to this area the vehicle had to pass through the car park.
Although it was known the car park is paid for, it was not known an anpr system was being used and because the vehicle was not to be parked in the car park the signs were not read.
Also, in this section of the car park there are no Horizon signs and in the non car park part the vehicle
was parked in there are no signs at all.
The vehicle was parked on the left directly behind Ladbrokes. These spaces are beyond the short metal posts and do not have marked out parking spaces.

Please do not obscure times and dates, they reveal nothing significant about you but they may be fundamental to any defence.
